PE

Physical Education (PE) is an incredibly important part of the curriculum at Edward Feild. In a typical week, children in Years 1-6 will take part in two PE sessions a week. The first is run by our sports coach, Mr Payne, who covers the majority of the national curriculum requirements. The second is is either an additional session run by class teachers or is a swimming session at Kidlington Leisure Centre. these lessons take place every Friday and run on the following timetable:

Autumn Term - Years 5 & 6

Spring Term - Years 3 & 4

Summer Term - Years 1 & 2

Children in EYFS and The Nest have opportunities to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding in PE every day.

In addition, Edward Feild benefits from being part of the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership (NOSSP). Among other benefits, the school is able to access 10-15 sports tournaments every year covering a variety of sports, ages and abilities.
